Using the Template

Don't start from scratch. Copy the template and fill in the blanks.

At a glance
  • Copy the engine bundle template.
  • Update the manifest and settings schema.
  • Implement the five contract methods.

Steps

  1. Copy the engine bundle template into a new tts_<id> repo.
  2. Edit manifest.json (id, entry class, capabilities, distribution).
  3. Describe options in settings_schema.json and deps in requirements.txt.
  4. Implement info / check_env / check_request / synthesize / settings_schema.
  5. Add the GitHub topic audiobook-studio-tts so Studio's browser finds it.
