Audiobook Studio 2.0 docs

Chapter Editor

The editor is where a chapter comes together: assign voices, generate, and listen back, all in one place.

In progress: the editor is consolidating around a single Script tab in 2.0; the description below reflects that target.
At a glance
  • Script tab: assign, batch-assign, generate, watch progress.
  • VCR playback: play / pause / stop / next / previous.
  • Edit tab: raw text with resync preview.

The Script tab

Assign voices and generate from one place. Assign a line, a character, or all unassigned narration at once, then generate and watch progress inline.

VCR playback

Review like a tape deck. Play, pause, stop, and jump to the next or previous line to audition your chapter quickly.

The Edit tab

Edit the raw text and resync. Fix wording, then preview how it re-splits before regenerating affected segments.

Note: Older Production/Performance/Preview tabs are folding into the Script tab.
